5:32pm Radar: The Storm Is Moving Inland

The eye is relatively calm. The EW = eye wall. That is where the highest winds are located. Unlike most hurricanes, the wind speeds with Milton are about the same around the entire eye wall, not in the right front quadrant as with most storms. Winds of more than 100 mph will move across Tampa Bay, please see map below. 


The storm surge will be life-threatening from the eye, south.
