Hurricane Debby: Catastrophic Flooding and Storm Surge Will Develop: 6:20pm Update

Forecast Basically Unchanged - Radar from 6:20pm. Eye is Circled.

The forecast location of landfall has not changed. Sustained winds of 85 mph are forecast. The path should become stationary Wednesday morning into Friday causing torrential rains.

Dangerous life-threatening flooding will occur. My forecast is more than 20" forecast along the Georgia-South Carolina border.

I believe catastrophic flooding will develop southern Virginia to northern Florida!

A highly dangerous storm surge will occur over the Big Bend.
Finally, the brown area has a significant risk of tornadoes.
