5pm EDT Update on Ernesto

Note: Dangerous rip currents are expected along the U.S. Atlantic Coast starting tomorrow. Drownings almost always increase during these periods.

Hurricane warning continues for Bermuda.
The storm's current winds are 85 mph and are forecast to increase to 100 mph when it is in the vicinity of Bermuda. The satellite images the past hour indicate, perhaps, a better organized eye which would be a sign of increasing intensity.

I'll provide an update late tomorrow morning.
