1:50pm [Final] Update on Tropical Storm Beryl

Here's the radar image of the storm along with tornado warnings (red polygons) now in effect.  

The tornado watch continues. To the west of the green line, things are safe from tornadoes.

The primary issue now is flash flooding. See 3-day rainfall forecast below.


With 2.7 million customers out of service, it means that about 6 million people are without power. It will take more than a week to get everyone restored. 

This will be the last update for Tropical Storm Beryl. I'll go back and take a look at accuracy and there will be a post on that topic, plus any weather conditions that need to be brought to your attention.
