Tropical Storm Alberto Plus Three Areas of Heavy Rain

These are maps of rainfall for the 24 hours ending at 9am CDT.

It appears there were spots of 10+ inches of rain in the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The heaviest rains from Alberto have not yet reached the coast.

Tropical Storm Alberto has officially been named.
The amber area is where winds are in the 40-45 mph range which are expected to last until the storm weakens after landfall.  The blue line is a tropical storm warning.

Below are the additional rains forecast for northern Mexico and Texas.
