Christmas Travel Forecast: 4:25pm Friday

The National Weather Service is now talking about blizzard conditions along Interstate 70 over eastern Colorado and extreme western Kansas.

Christmas Travel Forecast
6pm This Evening
There is a chance of hail in Arizona, otherwise no major storminess expected this evening. I-90 will be affected by snow and rain in eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle.

6am Saturday
Heavy snow will be occurring (dark blue) from Colorado and Utah north to eastern Washington and Idaho. This will affect I-70, I-80 and I-15.

6pm Saturday
Snow will be moving into Denver which could cause flight delays at the Southwest and United hub in Denver. I-25, I-80 and I-70 will be a mess. I recommend you leave early enough to avoid this.

6am Sunday
Blue is snow, dark blue is heavy snow, which will be affecting airline operations in Denver.

6pm Sunday
Santa is going to have to fly through snow from northwest Minnesota to Colorado and the High Plains of Kansas, with heavy snow from Nebraska to eastern South Dakota. Snow will still be falling along I-80 and it could be heavy.

For Christmas Day
