Weekend Fun: UFO Mania
I saw this yesterday evening. It is 2023 and this is the "first serious report" of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)?
See any resemblance to this image taken in Texas in 1950?
Seventy-three years after the 1950 image, we are still seeing black and white smudges in spite of high resolution smartphones and surveillance cameras all over the world. And, we are still seeing black and white smudges. What is wrong with this picture??
Believe the evidence these objects are not of extraterrestrial origin.
As someone who has spent more than 50 years in the fields of science and engineering, I am extremely skeptical we will put humans on Mars and safely return them to Earth in the next 100 years (BTW, my opinion is shared by author and former NASA scientist Homer Hickham).
Regardless of how smart intelligent life may be on another planet, distances and the laws of physics still apply. The nearest planet that may have life is 14 light-years away from earth. One light-year is about 6 trillion miles. If life is truly intelligent, they would be smart enough to know that it would be impossible odds to find other life given the insurmountable distances.
Could we or other nations on earth have unusual flying devices? Within the laws of physics, sure. But, whatever these are (and I believe most are hoaxes), they aren't from other planets.
