Sunday Fun: Clouds at a Soccer Game

Taken at my granddaughter's soccer game September 23 in Overland Park, Kansas.

Crepuscular Rays
Meteorologists call the sunbeams "crepuscular rays."

Distant Thunderstorm at Sunset
The orange effect is caused by light being bent by the sun's low angle. Meteorologists call it a cumulonimbus cloud.
