The X marks the position of the central of Tropical Storm Hilary. Its maximum sustained winds are 50 mph and the radius of tropical storm force winds (39-74mph) is in amber. The storm should lose its tropical characteristics after midnight.

Gold shapes are flash flood warnings. 31,000 homes and businesses are without power in California.
