This "
scare" is not based on actual temperature readings using, you know, thermometers. It is based on the initial analysis of a computer model. While that has some value, it is cherry-picking in the extreme. Big Climate loves this sort of thing.
If we look at the United States and our
National Climate Research Network -- the one that was installed to demonstrate global warming once and for all -- shows our nation has barely warmed.
Its records go back to 2005, so you are looking at 17 years of data.
World climate data shows temperatures have been flat, or even slightly down, since 2016.
I expect this to change quickly with the new El Nino. But, the fact is, there is no upward trend in temperatures that should "scare" anyone -- scientists or otherwise.
