Tornado and Derecho Update, 7pm

Above, the yellow outlined counties are in a tornado watch till 11pm with tornadoes and damaging thunderstorm winds to 90+mph are forecasted to occur.

The 6:55pm radar shows a thunderstorm that has been producing tornadoes in the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle where a tornado warning is in effect (red polygon). To the north, there are two other supercells. Any of these have the potential to cause a tornado.

A little farther to the west is a north-south line of thunderstorms. That will likely accelerate, gobble up the supercells and turn into a derecho with the 90 mph winds.
