Tornado Watch: Missouri, Iowa, Illinois Until 10pm

The tornado watch has been expanded in west central Illinois as of 6pm.

In addition to the potential for strong tornadoes, softball-sized hail is forecast to fall.

Low level instability is such that once thunderstorms develop, it likely they will become severe, or even tornadic, quickly.

As of 6:03pm, thunderstorms, producing hail, are occurring in west central Illinois.
