Blizzard and Extreme Wildfire Threat

In addition to the high risk of strong tornadoes tomorrow afternoon and night, there are other serious hazards that will affect other portions of the nation.

Wildfire
There is a high risk of wildfires tomorrow, especially from late morning until about two hours after sunset. It is vital that anything which could produce a spark be postponed until after this threat eases.

Blizzard
While it is getting awfully late in the season, a major blizzard will cripple travel across the North Central United States
Color codes:
  • Orange = blizzard warning.
  • Pink = winter storm warning.
  • Purple = winter weather advisory.
With winds gusting to 50 mph, it will be hard to measure snow amounts due to drifting. With that stipulation, here is a forecast of snow amounts.
I expect Interstates 25, 90, and 94 to be closed. Don't try to travel through these areas.
