72-Hour Winter Wheat and Western Corn Belt Rainfall

Here is 72-hours of rainfall data for the winter wheat and western corn belt as of 3pm this afternoon. Just click to enlarge.

Both the European and Canadian global models are mildly encouraging about the next two weeks with some rain in the High Plains -- where the drought is becoming increasingly desperate.

Canadian Global Model, 15-Day Forecast

European Global Model, 15-Day Forecast
Far more rain than this is needed to break the drought but these rains wouldn't be a bad start. Stay tuned.
