"Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" Part II

Last night, I posted about the discrepancy between times from my various devices. This is a significant issue in a paper I am writing.

I used the National Institute of Standards and Technology's WWV telephone line as the standard. After running multiple tests late night and this morning among my devices, here are my results:
  • MacBook laptop: Exactly correct.
  • iPhone 6S: One second early.
  • Olympus OM-D Camera, way off. Varied by 1:40 to 10:04. The camera allegedly has a GPS chip which should yield the correct time. I went outdoors this morning to, hopefully, allow the chip to synch up. Didn't help.
I'm making you aware of this in case you are in a business where the correct time is important.
