MAJOR Hurricane Forecast for Florida

The National Hurricane Center is now forecasting a major hurricane (winds 115 mph or stronger) to strike the Florida coast Tuesday night or Wednesday. They have also moved the point of landfall of the eye slightly farther to the north.

If you decide to get a portable generator, keep in mind that as many people died in Hurricane Laura from  carbon monoxide poisoning as were killed by the storm. It is essential that the instructions that come with the generator be followed completely.

If I lived in the white outline, I would begin preparations now as the supply chain is not what it used to be.  I'm hoping Governor DeSantis, President Biden and others in positions of authority are paying attention.

Of course, I will keep you informed as this situation develops.
