Wind Gusts to 105 mph are Forecasted to Occur!

We don't normally cover severe thunderstorm watches but this is a "particularly dangerous situation."
Wind gusts to 105 mph are forecasted to occur with a derecho coming out of Nebraska. A few tornadoes may also occur.
  • Prepare for power failures.
  • Downed trees are likely.
  • If a warning is issued, shelter as if it was a tornado warning.
Below is the radar at 3:39pm. The derecho is moving rapidly northeast.

Update 3:53pm:
This tornado watch calls for "strong tornadoes" and, outside of the tornadoes, wind gusts to 90 mph.
