At Last: Desperately Need Rain in Winter Wheat Belt

Finally. Desperately needed rains are forecast to fall in the winter wheat belt = central Great Plains during two periods in the next seven days:
  • In Kansas and Oklahoma, the rain will begin tomorrow afternoon and last until Friday afternoon or early evening.
  • The second period will be from daylight Monday until Wednesday afternoon.
The amounts on the map look good to me but there will be some locally heavier rains due to thunderstorms in southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon and night.
