Tornado Watch Until 11pm

The NWS is calling for "several strong tornadoes" to occur within the tornado watch area along with thundersstorm-generated winds of 75 mph. There will also be hail up to 1.5 inches in diameter.

The first thunderstorms should develop over the Ozarks in about an hour. We should see the first tornado-producing thunderstorms around 6pm.

Note: Later this evening, I expect a tornado watch(es) to be issued farther east and south.

Note: this watch includes Memphis, Little Rock and the southern half of the St. Louis' Bi-State area south of I-44.
