High Plains Tornado Watch Issued

In addition to the potential for strong tornadoes -- especially in the southern half of the area covered by the watch -- the NWS is also forecasting 3" hail and thunderstorm-generated wind gusts to 80mph.

The above is a tornado watch. It is a "heads up." Go to immediate shelter is a tornado warning is issued.
