Tropical Storm Elsa - Threat to the Keys and West florida

Here is the 2pm EDT forecast from the Hurricane Center and there is something I wish to add.
Some of the reliable computer models are showing a significant reintensification near the west coast of Florida. The situation is something similar to Hurricane Charlie in 2004 that rapidly intensified in the same area.

I am not saying that Elsa will be another Charlie. I am saying I am surprised the tropical storm watch doesn't extend farther north and that people in the indicated area should carefully watch future forecasts.
