Major Tornado Risk Sunday and Sunday Night

The NWS SPC has upgraded its forecast of tornadoes in the South for tomorrow and tomorrow night. Let's break it down:
  • Red is a serious risk.
  • Yellow is an enhanced risk.
  • Brown is a significant risk.
  • Hatching means that strong tornadoes are forecast.
I can't overstate how import it is to both be prepared and to monitor the weather Sunday and Sunday night. I'm certain it feels awful to have to go through this twice in eight days, but please make sure you prepare.

UPDATE: As if the tornado risk wasn't high enough for concern, there is a serious risk of flash flooding
tomorrow and tomorrow night. Perhaps it might be best to just hunker down and monitor the weather tomorrow. If that cannot be done, try to get your business done as early as possible.

Above all us: Don't drive into a flooded area. Turn around, don't drown.
