Two Weather Bulletins: Northeast and Great Plains

Northeast

A major 'noreaster is on its way. More than a foot of snow, with blizzard conditions is likely from near Washington, D.C. to Maine. I expect to have details on the storm this afternoon or evening and will update this post.

Great Plains

I have delayed commenting on this until my confidence increased: It looks like a change in weather pattern is in store that will bring the area much, much needed rain -- with a few areas getting snow. That is in the extended period, about a week away. More to follow!
