Stop It!
You may have seen some nonsensical snow forecasts for the Middle Atlantic and Northeast states in the last few days calling for more than two feet of snow. The worst blizzard in history stated one.
The result? Looks like that snow is not going to develop. Those forecasts kill meteorologists' credibility. You didn't see those forecasts on this blog. The GFS is a lousy model. [Note: I'm not saying some areas won't have snow in the next few days. It will be from a different storm and will not be the worst blizzard in history.]
To my fellow meteorologists and amateur meteorologists:
