Major earthquake to start the day in Wichita at 7:03am. It was rated 5.6 near Pawnee, Oklahoma. Serious damage reported near the epicenter.

The remains of Hermine are causing serious problems in the Middle Atlantic Region. If you live in coastal areas, please consult AccuWeather's coverage.

IF the storm should move even slightly closer to the coast, major flooding will occur.

  1. Enjoy your blog. But spare me the links to Accuweather! The over-dramatized reporting there ... Ugh! Hermine "unleashes" and will "batter". Northern Plains will be "rattled" by "severe" storms. Even the rocket explosion "terrifies" How about "just the facts"?
