Complaints About Storm Warnings: This Needs to Stop!
From a friend of mine starting her career at a TV station in Columbus, Mississippi.
There were violent tornadoes in her viewing area yesterday.
Meanwhile, highly respected meteorologist John Morales posted this a little while ago:
It is a link to my talk at the American Meteorological Society's Annual Meeting where I discuss the tremendous, but little recognized, value of the storm warning system to American society. The calls Ashley received were a direct result of the fact that people do not value the storm warning system as I believe they should.
It is past time for meteorologists to tout their accomplishments so Ashley and other meteorologists do not have to deal with that nonsense when tornadoes are in progress.
Above is the talk if you would like to watch.
