American People Get It Right on Global Warming
In spite of a propaganda campaign in its third decade, the needle has not moved when it comes to global warming. The well respected Rasmussen Organization has been polling on global warming since 2008. Opinions have hardly changed.
Date of Polling Human Caused Planetary Causes Other
April, 2008 47% 34% 8%
March, 2015 45 35 8
Rasmussen also asked whether Americans would be willing to pay $100/year to mitigate the effects of global warming. Two-thirds said no. That is how I would vote, also.
To clarify: Humans affect the climate. No question. But, we do not know how to control the weather or climate. So, money for that purpose would have no measurable effect.
