Flash Flood Threat and a New Tornado Watch Until 2am

A new tornado watch has been issued until 2am.
Tornado warnings are in effect at the present time.

I am also very worried about flash flooding in southern Oklahoma and far north Texas.

For the next few hours at least, the most serious threat will be between the pink arrows. Additional rainfall from near Wichita Falls to Ardmore/Texoma will be more than five inches in places with isolated amounts of more than eight inches! Given the saturated soil, roads could wash out and streams will rapidly rise.

Whatever you do, do not try to cross flooded areas by foot or by car. If you live in a flood-prone area, be prepared to move to higher ground at the first sign of rising water.

If you have friends/family in the tornado watch or the area threatened by flooding, please make sure they are aware of the threat. This is one to take seriously.
