Severe Thunderstorm Watch With Tornadoes Possible?
Normally, I do not cover severe thunderstorm watches on the blog but this one predicts:
The last time the SPC issued a watch with "a tornado or two possible" in this area was March 25 with the damaging tornadoes in Sand Springs and Moore, OK. As I have previously written, if they believe tornadoes are going to occur, they should issue a tornado watch. Regardless, the parameters of this watch are below:
Right now (5:22pm CDT), thunderstorms are developing rapidly on the west edge of the watch.
So, keep an eye on the storms this evening. I will not be live-blogging the storms.
