Another NWS Information Issue
Apparently, the National Weather Service this morning is sending out Storm Prediction Products from 2010. Please use any of their products with caution. AccuWeather has details.
The good news: No tornadoes or severe thunderstorms should occur anywhere in the contiguous 48 states today.
UPDATE: Apparently, a false tsunami message came across so the problem is wider than the Storm Prediction Center. Use NWS messages this morning with caution.
AccuWeather is not affected by this problem.
8:30am: Via Chris Novy and Facebook, this is what the problem looks like:
Skies are clear over the State of Oklahoma with no threat of tornadoes.
There is now at least one NWS office forecasting transmitting temperature information, so the problem appears to be ongoing.
8:33am: NWS now says they believe the problem is under control. Let's hope.
