Hurricane Warning for Hawaii

The National Weather Service has just issued a hurricane warning for the Island for Hawaii and a tropical storm warning for the islands of Maui, Lanai, and Molokai.
A tropical storm watch continues in effect for the Island of Oahu, including Honolulu. At and near sea level, winds on Hawaii will gust to 80 or even 85 mph in spots. At 2,000 ft. or higher, wind gusts of 85 to 90 mph are possible, especially on the east side (Hilo, Wailea) side of the island.

The effects below are still valid with the exception of Hawaii. I now am confident power will be out for at least five days on parts or all of the island. So, keep in mind what you would need if your street was blocked by fallen trees or you have no power for a week and obtain it now.
