10:45am CDT / 5:45am HST Update on Iselle

Satellite image shows the storm has weakened and compressed over the last few hours but is still hitting the Island of Hawaii hard.
At last report, the entire island is without power, there are unconfirmed reports of 85 mph gusts earlier this morning and unconfirmed reports of structural damage. Rainfall rates have exceeded four inches an hour in places and flooding is a major problem.

This is the 10:35am south Big Island radar and the flash flood warning is shown by the green polygon.
It is entirely possible Iselle will set rainfall records for the Island of Hawaii. Note: There is rain falling (of lesser intensity) on the west side of the island but the radar does not reach across the mountains to see it.

With regard to the other islands, this is the radar as of 10:38 am CDT (5:38am HST) shows increasing showers moving from east to west. I am concerned about the very heavy rain shown on the west side of Maui. I believe Hana may be cut off due to washed-out roadways.
Winds on the other islands are quite variable in speed but I have seen some gusts up to 40 mph in the heavier showers.

The storm will continue moving west today.
