Article About Climate Realist Dr. John Christy

From the New York Times. An excerpt:

Dr. Christy has drawn the scorn of his colleagues partly because they believe so much is at stake and he is providing legitimacy to those who refuse to acknowledge that. If the models are imprecise, they argue, the science behind them is compelling, and it is very likely that the world has only a few decades to stave off potentially catastrophic warming.

Two comments: The reporter got this exactly right. The models (which are nearly worshipped by some in climate 'science') make bad forecasts. As one reasonable (yes, they exist!) climate scientist wrote to me (GCM = global climate model; GISS = NASA's climate model):
I agree: all or virtually all of the climate models have shown warming even though no warming has occurred for seventeen years. He is surprised by the lack of skill in forecasting climate 15 years into the future. I'm not, since we have no consistent skill forecasting the climate 15 months into the future.

Second,
it is very likely that the world has only a few decades to stave off potentially catastrophic warming.
How many times are these goal posts going to get moved?! We've been told of final..Final…FINAL "tipping points" since 1991. You can refresh your memory here. What I posted above is a small excerpt) for anonymity where he was defending the models even though they are wrong.
