Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm Outlook Until 7am Tuesday

Here is the tornado outlook. Five percent is the significant threshold. Hatching is where violent tornadoes may occur.

Very damaging winds are likely (15% is the significant threshold) with 45+% in the center of the forecast probabilities. The hatching indicates where wind gusts of 75 mph or higher are forecast during the night.

Finally, here is the hail outlook for the rest of the night. Again, 15% is the significant probability threshold. The hatching is where 2" or larger hailstones are forecast.

AccuWeather Regional Radar shows the line of thunderstorms sagging south across Iowa where widespread damaging winds are forecast. Over northeast Nebraska into Siouxland, supercell thunderstorms continue.
