More on the Kansas Wheat Havest
Got an email asking if I had any more photos of this year's Kansas Wheat Harvest. Answer? Yes. Here is one near Saffordville:
The blades of the combine are cutting the (too short because of drought) wheat and expelling the chaff from the rear.
In most cases, the combine empties into a truck. The truck takes it to a grain elevator and then it, again in most cases, moves by train across country.
