Tornado Warning: Missouri-Kansas Border, Including Joplin

5:59pm radar: Confirmed tornado near Joplin Airport moving ENE. Carl Junction - Webb City - Alba - Oronago - Carthage - Garytown take cover!

5:50pm, a tornado was confirmed near the Joplin airport. Take cover Carthage, Webb City, Oronago, Alba. Debris has been confirmed. Report of "considerable damage" at Baxter Springs.

5:48pm: Radar image of the likely tornado positions. The northern tornado looks like it will affect the Joplin Airport and Carl Junction. Joplin is included in the warning. The southern storm is moving toward Neosho.

Very concerned about the storm, moving ENE, south of Seneca, OK. It is crossing the border into SW MO and may affect Goodman, Neosho and Granby. Be prepared to take shelter if the weather looks threatening or a warning is issued. Update: Tornado warning just issued on this storm.
