NCAA Selection Sunday: The Evolution of WuShock!

The New York Times
Today is the day! The basketball experts seem to think the Shockers will play in the Midwest Regional in St. Louis.

Wichita State has one of the most memorable and unusual mascots in collegiate sports. The New York Times has a great article on the evolution of WuShock.

In some of the photos accompanying the article, you'll see a smaller version of WuShock. It was called WeeShock but is not around any more. I mention that so you will not be confused by We Wu -- a hand puppet that you will undoubtedly see at the Shocker games.
