As if the Southeast and Middle Atlantic region hasn't had enough to contend with recently, there is a threat of severe thunderstorms and a few tornadoes in this region later in the week.

Everyone -- especially schools -- should review their tornado safety precautions and make sure they have a way to obtain pertinent warnings even if the power should fail.
