Sure Enough!

As predicted, we were late getting into Chicago -- even I was told in Wichita we would be "on time" -- because of thunderstorms in the area of O'Hare (see photo above). My flight to New York is delayed even more than the incoming flight so I will still "make the connection" even though I will get to NYC more than 90 minutes late.
I bring this up because contemporary weather science is highly reliable and it is a shame for the airlines, and their customers, that many of them don't take advantage of it.
