Additional Flood Woes Likely

The tornado watches listed below are still out but the western sides have been cleared. The areas enclosed in red are still under tornado watches.

Here is the rainfall (and moisture contained in snow) for the last seven days.The drought continues in much of the HIgh Plains but significant moisture has occurred in the Colorado Rockies and foothills.
Moisture has improved over part of the the winter wheat belt mainly east of U.S. 81.
The cold and wet weather will significantly delay corn planting in the Corn Belt.

The seven-day rainfall outlook indicates additional heavy rains will fall in areas where flooding is already occurring and/or the ground is already saturated.
