More on the Tornado False Alarm Problem
The Capital Weather Gang (CWG) of the Washington Post has an interesting take on the false tornado alarm (i.e., warning issued, no tornado occurred) in the Washington, D.C. area June 1.
This is an issue I take up in When the Sirens Were Silent.
There is little doubt that the next challenge for tornado research is decreasing the number of false alarms.
Note: After disappearing at the Kindle store due to a technical issue, the ebook version of WTSWS is now back up.
