Farm Belt Rainfall Update

Total rainfall since midnight at the Smith House: 0.23 inches.

On a much larger scale, here is the rainfall the last 24 hours across the Farm Belt (0.11" at the Smith House) up to 7 o'clock this morning.

My friends in Kansas City have been complaining about being missed by the recent rains and they have a gripe: It has been all around them.

Unfortunately, much of the Corn Belt has not received substantial moisture. Conditions should improve a little based on the National Weather Service's 5-day rainfall amount forecast.
