Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Outlook

There is a severe thunderstorm watch until 1am CDT in the central High Plains:

AccuWeather regional radar shows the line of thunderstorms in the High Plains that will be strengthening as it gets into the more unstable air to the east of U.S. 183 this evening.

This may be one of those events that keeps going much of the night, so people to the east of the watch should keep an eye on the weather later this evening and check in with their 10pm newscasts.

There is a pretty good chance of severe thunderstorms, possibly accompanied by tornadoes, Monday and Tuesday. From the NWS Storm Prediction Center:

Monday's Outlook

Tuesday's Outlook

Tuesday's probabilities are fairly high for this far out. This certainly bears watching.
