Another Worthy Recipient: Al Gore Award for Environmental Hypocrisy
On November 11, I added Julia Louis-Dreyfus. I thought it would be months prior to having to name another worthy recipient. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Charles Hendry is Great Britain's Minister for Energy and Climate Change. What did he do to qualify for the award? Purchased a castle with sixteen, that's right, sixteen bathrooms, 14 bedrooms, and a heated (!) swimming pool! Photo below:

In a speech last September, he said: ‘We have pledged to be the greenest government ever. We must lead by example. Leadership from government departments is something we cannot – and will not – shirk.
‘We are not asking others to do things we will not do ourselves.’
