First Tornado Watch of the Day Issued

Here is the AccuWeather radar at 11:19am:

The storms of greatest interest at the moment are the strong discrete cells north of Lake Texoma. They are moving northeast into an area increasingly favorable for tornadoes.

So, the NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued the first (probably of many) tornado watches for the day, this one valid until 6pm Central:
