VERY Preliminary Snow Forecast

Because blog readership dips so much on weekends, I wanted to get this out before our readers go home for the day. It looks like there will be another significant winter storm in the Missouri River Valley Sunday and Monday.  Here is a preliminary look:

Please keep in mind that, this far out, the storm could easily shift 100 or so miles in any direction. I intend this not as a final forecast but as a "heads up" before the weekend.

This same storm may later make a visit to the Ohio Valley and Northeast the middle of next week. Stay tuned. UPDATE: AccuWeather just posted this item about this same storm when it makes it into the East.
