I have not talked about this season's Stormchasers on the Discovery Channel. Reed, Sean and company are just part of the storm chasing picture. The Vortex II experiment was an important multi-platform data gathering project that will, in three to five years (giving the scientists time to analyze the data), yield new insights into severe storms that will -- hopefully -- improve our forecasting and warning capability.
