Some Good Energy News

Poet, an energy company with a large office in Wichita, says that cellulosic ethanol with be commercially available in the United States in 2012.  This is good news. Cellulosic ethanol does not use foodstuffs in its production and has more energy output per gallon than other forms of ethanol.

According to Poet's web site, they can produce cellulosic fuel from corncobs, switchgrass, algae, and wood chips.

This is a great opportunity and I wish them well.
