Catching Up on Philippines Typhoon Damage
UPDATE: 7:45PM Saturday: Associated Press reporting 10,000 may be dead in Tacloban, alone.
The school below looks much more like tornado damage than a hurricane, including the two de-barked trees in the background.
As would be expect with winds well above150 mph, the damage looks more like that from a tornado rather than a hurricane. The photo below is from Reuters.
