Arnold Palmer's Last Flight As Pilot
We in Wichita, the aviation center of the world (more planes built here than any other city), have been lucky to have Arnold Palmer as a frequent visitor over the years.
January 31, the day his pilot's license expired, he took his last trip in his Cessna Citation X as its pilot. The X is the fastest non-military plane in the world. He is keeping the plane but will be a passenger from now on.
For the record, I would LOVE to have a Citation X. I only need to sell about 1,210,040 more copies of Warnings to make it happen! You can purchase one here.
Hat tip: Wichita Eagle.
From "Golf Digest," Palmer in the captain's seat for the last time. |
